I've been pretty busy lately, and now I'm loading pics that I've taken last two months or so. I went to this Four Points Sheraton for their buffet dinner. The truth is, i went there TWO times, not to say the food there is THAT good, but it was ok, not bad for a buffet for a hotel this standard.
Since it was Saturday, where they have weekend special BBQ theme on Friday to Sunday, the price per pax was RM68, and extra RM10 from the weekdays norm of RM58 as the weekdays does not include the BBQ theme food. I'd say the BBQ section was well worth the extra RM10. Very nice indeed, and i even get to taste Baby Sharks!
Too bad there's not much selection for drinks, there's only soft drinks and plain water for the free flow. Those who loves raw seafood like salmon, tuna and of course, that unresistable oyster!! Just squeeze those lemons on top of them and you'll be dreaming sky high! But of course, you cant really expect the raw seafood to be extremely fresh, they'll have to be flew in to kuching and get prepared before it can even get to the table. At least they're doing a good job at keeping it as fresh as possible.
I call this the "Clamps Paradise" where nothing is but CLAMPS!
The BBQ section, clockwise is the Cheese hotdog ( which i never see any cheese inside), onion ring, lamb chop with mushroom sauce, some curry squid, chicken satay and some small beef steak with BBQ sauce. Mind you, they have 3 sauce for your choosing; Mushroom Sauce ( i really love this one! they really got MUSHROOM inside! ), Black Pepper sauce ( made from sarawak black pepper and trust me, this one really meant business, strong pepper taste!) and BBQ sauce (which i think is rather unique, you have to taste it to know it. I dont know how to describe it but it isnt that good tho)
This one is from the asian corner! Clockwise from the top; some lamb meat?, then few pieces of brocolli, and sweet sour chicken?, then some potatoes and the small thing at top there is mustards and some what sauce which i forgot the name. Not for those with weak taste buds!!
Forgot what is this dish. Its made from eggs and supposedly there's some shark fin under it, which i think is rather some fake shark fin.
The girls would love to come here not for the dinner, but rather for the deserts! It has one of the widest selection of deserts after the one at Riverside Majestic Cafe's Japanese Buffet. From clockwise; Honeydew pudding with kiwi slice and duno what that red scoop is, slices of honeydew, the spoon thing is mango scoop with BLACK chocolate!! gotta love this one! and lastly, mango pudding with jelly topping in cocktail style!
the view from my dinner table, as you can see, this place is large and big enough for children to run around and end up throwing up everything they ate earlier.
Introducing, the two Miss Buffet, from the left, is JJ, not as JJ Lin Jun Jie but JJ as in Jing Jing, and on the right, the infamous Slyvia! Beware of these two people, pls..
The atmosphere isnt as dark as you can see it in this photo. Blame the camera for this one, this one is meant to show how they decorate their place.
The red glass is meant for plain water, and those tall slim glasses is where you get your softdrinks from. The small square thing in the middle there is wasabi with soy sauce, and the bun of the left there.... we'll talk about it later =)
SP! What can you think of by watching this? Look familiar? Hmmm.... I wonder what it is...
Ok, 4 person, and the bill come out like this. Worth it? I'd say I didnt enjoy to the fullest as I stuffed myself on the afternoon at the same day before i go for the buffet.
Back to the bun... well this one, thanks to my genius idea to put all sorts of different type of cheese on top of this bun here and baked it in the oven, and the end result is, I'm gonna avoid eating cheese for a while... a total failure! Phail!
