First time..

Tonight is the first night
the night I hold her hand
so soft and gentle
and yet so warm

I wished the night could have been longer
but too bad it gotta end so fast
the moment so sweet
and yet too short

but its ok...
I still got Wednesday =D

Good food.... to resist it is a sin, but yet too sinful to resist

Lately this few months, either I've gone crazy or the God of Food had given me his desire of food, I've been going around trying new food and some that I must reccomend to all food lovers out there. And mind you, some food doesnt comes cheap, so make sure your wallet is thick enough to fully enjoy them. Cut the crap, lets go to the pics

1. StarBucks

The promotional breakfast set at Starbucks. This one cost less than RM10. This set gives you a cup of freshly brewed coffee, one tinu cup of cream milk, and a choice of available buns. And the brown packets there is some brown sugar.

I forgot what name this is already, but obviously its a bun with some chocolate chips on top of it. Very nice in my opinion, doesnt taste like those ordinary chocolate bun you find in some bakeries.

The tissue there are made from recycled paper! How cool is that? You might be wiping your mouth with paper recycled from some toilet paper other people used to wipe their kacheng!

2. Dont know where somewhere behind Hock Lee

This place my friend, serve what I'd say the best Char Siew rice in whole of kuching! The meat is tender and juicy! Forget about the chicken sold there, the main hero is the Char Siew itself. A must go for a pork lover!

The "side dish" that will be given to you before the main hero arrive. It includes a bowl of curry soup, one bow of normal soup, some chili thing, and kicap and belacan

This is the reason I go here, all the way from my office, all the way down here, just to enjoy this plate of char siew~

I went back to sibu not long ago to attend my cousin's wedding. Guess what? He's younger than me! Waw, and he already got a wife!

I grew up in sibu, and I enjoyed my childhood at sibu. I still remember this helicopter I used to ride when I was small. Maybe I've even rode with someone when I was small and I dont remember when. hahaha

3. Thompson Corner

This is one of my favourite breakfast other than half boiled egg. This one is called Ham Cheese Omellete. You can find the stall selling this one at Thompson Corner at Tabuan Jaya. I'm not sure why not many people are eating this but I find this stuff taste really good. Maybe most of the people going there are old people, and not used to these kinda food.

4. Taiwan Xiao Zhou

Located along Jalan Pandungan, next few shops after the Hong Kong Noodle House is this restaurant called Taiwan Xiao Zhou. Its written in chinese so dont expect to find any english name. The reason why I love to come here is because the food here have that "home taste" in it. Feels like you're eating dishes cooked at home by your mum. It feels so good that I would've come here everyday if not becoz of the restaurant is far from my place.

4. Bing! Premiere 101

Lately I've gotten myself a Bing fever. I've come here and tasted their Mango Smoothies. Trust me, its worth every cents you spent on it. But too bad, recently they are out of mangoes so no more mango smoothies for a while. But no worries, they still have other selection of drinks and food too!

I've promised to take someone dear to me to taste some chocloate cake, and this is the one that I was talking about. Its called Brownies. Rm6.90 per piece, very worth it I'd say. The cake is heated on the oven to make the chocolate layer on top of it to melt down. Oh yeah, just by listening to this already makes me drooling over it~ Then it is served with cream on a plate. NICE NICE NICE!! And to that special someone, I'll surely bring you go, no worry! haha

I've forgotten to take a pic of the mango smoothies that I'm so crazy about. So this is the only one I remember to take. This is Vannilla Lemon Twist. Just a so so drink, still prefer their coffee drink.

Conclusion is, I'm not going any slimmer if I keep on eating these sinful delights and yet too sinful to resist food... hahaha

Looking back at those two...

Remember those two hypermarket that cause the whole kuching into chaos and cars go kaboom and cow go flying and cats to grow horns? I remember both Boulevard and Spring have Sushi King, Manhattan Fish Market, Kenny Rogers at that time.

But now? The Manhattan Fish Market at Boulevard had ran out of biznes and the only one left standing (barely i'd say) is the one at Spring. Amazingly Sushi King on both side is doing pretty steadily but I think the one at Spring is doing better.

And how about Kenny Rogers? I havent been to Boulevard for awhile but i think the one at Boulevard had closed? It wont be surprising to me you know. Imagine this, a quarter of roasted chicken with some pathethic scoop of "side dish" and that will cost you around RM17 and the drinks there is like beyond godlike price? I remember i ordered a Lemon Tea and i was expecting it to be prepared FRESH ( like those what you get at kopitiam) and hope it'll taste better than those at kopitiam. But what i get is a glass of poured Lipton Ice Lemon Tea, and it cost a freaking RM6! I'd pray to God they close down!

I'm converting myself to Japanese

Apparently, I've been on an eating spree lately. As much as I love it, it hurts my wallet as much too, and its not good for health also since I'm gonna add those numbers to my weight!

Despiteeeee that, this one I just cant resist! Another brilliant japanese restaurant, located in a hidden location near Jalan Mendu near Sekama here. The name is Tomoe. A reasonable priced japanese restaurant and I love going there.

Now, cut the crap, lets move on to the food!!

This is the Tempura Udon (or Japanese Mee sua as some certain people would call it as)

Sukiyaki!! This my friend, I tell you, will definitely fill your stomach! Imagine, a big bowl of soup containing beef, vermiceli, and some vege served with a bowl of rice, one egg and a piece of watermelon. The soup bowl may look small, but hey, you never know till you taste it!

Salmon sashimi, 8 piece for RM24. Not that fresh to be exact, but still its nice and its generously thick. Gosh i'm getting hungry by now...

Salmon Sashimi Bento! I have no idea how this one taste coz its not me who ordered this one. But as the name suggest, it got salmon slices on there, and some other things that i cant be sure about coz it went into someone's stomach as soon as this picture is taken!!

Alright! Mix Sushi Special! I dont see anything special in here, except for mixed sushi... duh.. From what i can remember, from the top left, salmon, squid?, tuna, prawn, unagi, dunno what, fish roe, and the 4 bottom there is some random sushi, no idea. This one is not reccomended. Doesnt really taste good for a RM30 per plate of this.

Now, the MAIN REASON i go here, is for this! THIS is THE THING! Its the reason WHY I wont go to Pizza Hut anymore!! This Japanese Pizza here aka Okonomi Yaki is what this restaurant is famous for. And its only RM14! Whats inside? So far, from what I've tasted i can recognise cabbage, onions, mayonaise, squid, and that thing I dunno what name it is. This you really have to order when you go to eat there. Its like how you must eat Kampua when you to Sibu. I'm getting hungrier!!

Erm... this one, i forgot what name it is. But it got some thick noodle inside with some fish stick (aka naruto, not the anime naruto but FOOD naruto) and one tempura somewhere inside that soup lol. this one isnt a bad dish.

One of their luxury dish, the Dragon Maki. A super llooooonnnggggggg tempura fried till crispiness is then wrapped around with cabbage with some other ingredients inside and finished with some fish roe as toppings. You'll fall in love with this one within the first bite! But the price may knock you back to reality. RM20 for this godlike dish. Worth it? For me, its worth every cents but still, this is a dish with godlike taste with beyond godlike price...

Buffet at Sheraton, or Throwing money at Sheraton?

I've been pretty busy lately, and now I'm loading pics that I've taken last two months or so. I went to this Four Points Sheraton for their buffet dinner. The truth is, i went there TWO times, not to say the food there is THAT good, but it was ok, not bad for a buffet for a hotel this standard.

Since it was Saturday, where they have weekend special BBQ theme on Friday to Sunday, the price per pax was RM68, and extra RM10 from the weekdays norm of RM58 as the weekdays does not include the BBQ theme food. I'd say the BBQ section was well worth the extra RM10. Very nice indeed, and i even get to taste Baby Sharks!

Too bad there's not much selection for drinks, there's only soft drinks and plain water for the free flow. Those who loves raw seafood like salmon, tuna and of course, that unresistable oyster!! Just squeeze those lemons on top of them and you'll be dreaming sky high! But of course, you cant really expect the raw seafood to be extremely fresh, they'll have to be flew in to kuching and get prepared before it can even get to the table. At least they're doing a good job at keeping it as fresh as possible.

I call this the "Clamps Paradise" where nothing is but CLAMPS!

The BBQ section, clockwise is the Cheese hotdog ( which i never see any cheese inside), onion ring, lamb chop with mushroom sauce, some curry squid, chicken satay and some small beef steak with BBQ sauce. Mind you, they have 3 sauce for your choosing; Mushroom Sauce ( i really love this one! they really got MUSHROOM inside! ), Black Pepper sauce ( made from sarawak black pepper and trust me, this one really meant business, strong pepper taste!) and BBQ sauce (which i think is rather unique, you have to taste it to know it. I dont know how to describe it but it isnt that good tho)

This one is from the asian corner! Clockwise from the top; some lamb meat?, then few pieces of brocolli, and sweet sour chicken?, then some potatoes and the small thing at top there is mustards and some what sauce which i forgot the name. Not for those with weak taste buds!!

Forgot what is this dish. Its made from eggs and supposedly there's some shark fin under it, which i think is rather some fake shark fin.

The girls would love to come here not for the dinner, but rather for the deserts! It has one of the widest selection of deserts after the one at Riverside Majestic Cafe's Japanese Buffet. From clockwise; Honeydew pudding with kiwi slice and duno what that red scoop is, slices of honeydew, the spoon thing is mango scoop with BLACK chocolate!! gotta love this one! and lastly, mango pudding with jelly topping in cocktail style!

the view from my dinner table, as you can see, this place is large and big enough for children to run around and end up throwing up everything they ate earlier.

Introducing, the two Miss Buffet, from the left, is JJ, not as JJ Lin Jun Jie but JJ as in Jing Jing, and on the right, the infamous Slyvia! Beware of these two people, pls..

The atmosphere isnt as dark as you can see it in this photo. Blame the camera for this one, this one is meant to show how they decorate their place.

The red glass is meant for plain water, and those tall slim glasses is where you get your softdrinks from. The small square thing in the middle there is wasabi with soy sauce, and the bun of the left there.... we'll talk about it later =)

SP! What can you think of by watching this? Look familiar? Hmmm.... I wonder what it is...

Ok, 4 person, and the bill come out like this. Worth it? I'd say I didnt enjoy to the fullest as I stuffed myself on the afternoon at the same day before i go for the buffet.

Back to the bun... well this one, thanks to my genius idea to put all sorts of different type of cheese on top of this bun here and baked it in the oven, and the end result is, I'm gonna avoid eating cheese for a while... a total failure! Phail!

I'm gonna go broke soon!!!!

Holllaaaa!!! Alright. Today is a freaking big time money spending day. In the morning, I ate a large bowl of KamPua for breakfast. I felt still abit full during lunch hour, but then so cun that I was on the way that I pass by the newly open StarBucks at the Jalan song right opposite the green roof church there.

So, having an itchy mouth, I decided to went in to explore the new place. It has an outside seatings but a small one. Small table with 2 chairs. It's not that big on the inside too. But there's a 1st floor, which has open window for your "traffic viewing" pleasure. The 1st floor isnt that big either. Don't expect a quiet environment up there. The place isn't that small and whenever there's a group of people hanging out there, you can practically hear almost EVERYTHING they say.

When I went inside, as usual, their friendly waiters are there to entertain you. My pick of the day was:

1. Java Chip Frap - RM13.50
2. Marble Cheese Cake - RM9.50

Java Chip Frap, a nice blend of coffee with choc chips. Reccomended!

The Marble Cheese Cake that will turn your stomach as round as a marble!

The coffee was great especially with the cream on it with choc. But the cheese cake was abit of a dissapointment though. The thing is, I was choosing between the Marble Cheese and Blueberry Chesse. The waiter told me that if I want to go for more creamy cheese then I should choose Marble Cheese. Alright, Marble Cheese indeed. But the cheese cake was not up to my expectation for a RM9.50 a slice. It somehow didn't taste that nice, and I think Secret Recipe could've easily done better.

There's one more thing I noticed there. They don't provide those fancy fancy super silky tissue for you, but instead they go green by providing tissue made from 40% made from consumed paper or something like that, and is bleach-free. The thing is, I pretty much like the tissue lol! It is nice and the brown color make it look classy, who would've thought it was made with recycled paper.

Anyhow, no matter how much you enjoy a coffee or a cheese cake or the environment, you still need to get the bucks out of your pocket, and StarBucks is a Star in getting the Bucks out of you. I'm gonna go broke soon if I do this everyday.

Rm24.15 for a lunch set without the main course, only drinks and desert!

All Hail Lelouch!!

Desssssspppiitteeeeee my so so so freaking near coming soooooooonnn exam, i managed to find time to watch 2 seasons worth of anime. As idiot as I can be, but this anime is definitely a worthy of watching. A must watch!

Warning, the post below may contain spoilers images and infomation. I would not take responsibility for any suicide case or any other incident due to the fact of leaking spoilers out.

Code Geass : Lelouch of the Rebellion

This anime is wicked. Up to date, it has released 2 seasons under Sunrise. Nice story line. Yes it has mecha inside, but wait!

To the mecha lovers like Gundam, dont put too much faith, it doesnt have THAT much of mecha battles inside. Its more down to the storyline.

To those who hates anime like Gundam, no worries. This anime isnt all about mecha battles and freaking destroying motherships bigger than the state of Texas with omfgwtf weapons. It actually HAVE a STORYLINE! A FREAKING STORYLINE!

Lelouch Vi Britannia

It all began when a cast away prince, Lelouch, found a mysterious girl (hot too!) named C.C. who gave him the Power of Kings, Geass. From there, he took a step further, gathering troops he named the Black Knights. With the ultimate aim of destroying Britannia to create a peaceful world for his sister Nunally and getting revenge from his father for the death of his mother, he uses his Geass to fulfill his desire. His Geass apparently will make anyone who look into his eye to obey ANY command of his. ANYTHING! Wish I can get something like that! Who knows what I'll do...

Look into his eyes and you'll become his sex slave

Introducing some of the characters from the anime:

Charles De Britannia

The father of Lelouch, the Emperor of Britannia, the most wicked man in the anime. He can erase your memory and make you have a new brother who you never knew! Wicked! Just look at the face and you'll feel like slapping him in the face 100 times. If you notice the masks behind the King, please note that it has nothing to do with Bleach.

C.C.

The mysterious girl, who gave Lelouch his Geass, the ability to make people obeying his command at will. This girl is just so bangable. Just watch the anime and you'll get what I mean. She loves pizza, she loves bed, and she loves hugs. And sometimes kissess too.

Nunally

The kawaii sister of Lelouch. She is the reason for what Lelouch is fighting for. She became blind and unable to move due to the death of her mother where she was also hurt at the time of the attack.

[SPOILER ALERT]
Geass can command you to go blind too! WTF!

The anime in short, is totally worth to watch. Even the ending created and uproar within the die hard fans. This anime got it all!

Busty chicks!

Blonde chick!

Sadness....sobs sobs

and of course... death...

The songs being used in the anime is also great! I personally fell in love with one of the OST of the first season, Track 2, a song called Stories. Definitely a masterpiece!

Can I use Geass to pass my exams? Hmmm.... a thought to wonder upon...
